The Heart to Heart Foundation (H2H) successfully hosted its Annual Teachers Workshop 2026 on 30th January 2026 at The Karen Hospital , bringing together over 300 teachers in Kenya for a specialized health education forum focused on heart-related ailments in learners.
Held under the theme “Teachers as Frontline Educators in the Fight Against Heart-Related Ailments in Learners,” the workshop reinforced the critical role of teachers in early detection, prevention, and referral of pediatric heart conditions and other child health concerns affecting school-going children.
The Teachers Workshop 2026 focused on providing practical knowledge and early-intervention strategies that educators can apply directly within schools. Key sessions included:

The strong attendance of over 300 educators reflects the growing commitment to improving child health in Kenyan schools . By empowering teachers with health literacy and awareness tools, the workshop strengthens school-based support systems and promotes early diagnosis of heart-related ailments.
The event further enhanced collaboration between the education and healthcare sectors, positioning teachers as key partners in safeguarding children’s hearts and overall well-being.
